STELLA AND DOT EVENT II

I've finally found time to publish the pictures from the Stella and Dot event that took place a few weeks ago. I met up with Nisi and together we made our way to the Hotel Michelberger, where the Team was waiting for us with delicious food and room full of jewelry. Stella and Dot is a company from the US, but thier products can be purchased online or from their so called trunk shows.
We had the chance to take a look and play with the pieces during a photo shoot. But before Hair and Make was done by M.A.C.

STELLA AND DOT

Wednesday night I visited the Stella and Dot event held at the Ellington Hotel. It felt a lot like an art exhibition. Not only because of the paintings on the white walls, the walking waiter serving champagne on a tray or the fine dressed ladies, but also because of Stella&dot's jewelry and the way it was exhibited, which indeed looked like a piece of art. I'm head over heels with the jewelry, especially those statement necklaces.
I'm a sucker for statement necklaces..

LOTUS MENDES GIVEAWAY AND A QUICK UPDATE OF MY LIFE

Hey guys!
Sorry to have abandoned you for about a week (feels like a month), but I was unable to post content to my blog. I have quite a bit to tell you about; from new make up and nail polishes I received, to my first ever online shopping (!!! hello?! I've finally arrived in the year 2012!), new pieces from Love clothing, appearing on TV, major wishlist at Bershka, a new side project I've started and designing my own parfume. See? It's getting interesting :P

STONE CHILDD

I've been wanting to blog about this jewelry line for a while now, but I never came around to do it. And now I've finally gotten down to write it. :)

Stone Child is hand made jewelry made by two lovely sisters from L.A. It's not just the lovely jewelry that made me want to write about it after being aproached by Christina, but also the story and dream behind it.
Their dream: creating beautiful fashon pieces while providing opportunities to the less fornuate.
These two girls are dreaming of creating and making it available for the less fortunate fashionistas out there, a dream I myself dream of. Eventually they want to move their workshop to Kabul for their new project and create their jewelry there.
Their each piece is unique as it is made by hand and created from finest quality pure metals.

Here is a discout code for 10% off valid until June 1st : HAPPYMAY01
Hurry!!!

More of their stuff here :)

I wish them all the best for the future and can't wait to see how their project unfolds.
What's your favorite piece?

SCRABBLE STYLE I GERMAN I

Also waren das dann so was wie Anhänger.

SCRABBLE STYLE

Pixie wears Katarina Louise

I fell in love with this idea ever since I saw Pixie Lott sporting this jewellery in the beginning of 2009. They were originally designed by Katarina Louise. Her Scrabble Collection ranges from 5 to 20 pounds. So I decided to do my own. Then Rock 'N Roses had some too for around 9 pounds for the necklaces and 8 for the rings.

People were actually make their own scrabble tile necklaces, but the actually stuck a picture on the back and put a glaze on it so it was a pendant. I found that a cute idea, but I still preferred sporting them as name tags ;)

Since summer I've got everything ready to do my necklace but I'm still missing the essential part - the scrabble tiles. I can only find them on the american ebay and they are quite cheap but the packing cost from 20 -80 dollars. I'm not kidding. It's insane! So frustrating!

Apparently they are now making their rounds on blogs. So now vipxo makes scrabble jewelry and has send some to known bloggers Zoella and LLYMLRS. Prices are affordable. I'm still gonna make my own though.
The bracelet is cute, but not my thing. Gonna stick to the simple necklace, hairpin and the ring.
